2010 Scholarship Winner – Stacey Allison Kropaczek
Stacey Allison Kropaczek, Robinson class of 2010, was the Robinson band program vice president and first chair trombone player. She played a second instrument, the clarinet, in the Regional Orchestra, Jazz Combo, Brass Ensemble, Brass Quintet and Concert 3. She also is a member of the National Honor Society and received academic letters in all four of her years in high school.
"Music gives you the ability to express whatever emotion you're feeling,
whenever you want to," Kropaczek wrote in her application essay. "When
I go to elementary school concerts and recitals with new, inexperienced
players, I can't help but smile ... My future will be a success if I can
help other scared, weary students
to create some positive musical
experiences for themselves."
